GENERALDESCRIPTION:
Acetone is a perfect solvent of numerous organic substances, especially
fats, oils, resins andnitrocellulose. Acetone is used in refinery industry for
selective oil refining, in papermaking and pharmaceutical industry, to
manufacture auxiliary products for rubber industry, in paint and varnish
industry and tomanufacture chemical reagents. It is alsoused for organic
synthesis inchloroformand isopropyl alcohol production.

Pharmaceutical petrol is a mixture of saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons
with thenumber of coal atoms of C6 andC7. It ismade through catalytic
hydrogenation and rectificationof non-aromatic residueof aroma extrac-
