ORLEN OIL – producer of PLATINUM oils is starting official cooperation with SUBARU Import Polska. Long-term cooperation will be related with development of oil technology, road safety programmes and motorsport. A letter of intent defining the areas of cooperation was signed by the president of the management board of SUBARU Import Polska, Mr. Witold Rogalski, the President of the Management Board of ORLEN OIL, Mrs. Renata Szostak and Member of the Management Board of ORLEN OIL, Mr. Krzysztof Pietrzyk.

Long-term cooperation will be related with development of oil technology, road safety programmes and motorsport. An important part of activity of both companies are actions related with promotion of road safety and involvement in the development of motorsport in Poland. The first common project is the new rally team – Platinum Subaru Rally Team. This season Michał and Grzegorz Bębenek and Wojciech Chuchała / Kamil Heller will start in Subaru Impreza STI R4. Both teams are competing in the full cycle of the Polish Rally Championship. The new team was successful during the 41st Świdnica Krause Rally, round 1 of the 2013 Polish Championship. They were second in the general classification.

Both ORLEN OIL and SUBARU treat their involvement in motorsport as a significant part of the strategy. Support for the rally team is not only about providing greatest emotions for the rally fans but it is also a platform for technological development and testing new solutions. The natural result of such approach is great involvement in making key decisions in a team. An important part of the cooperation will be common communication policy and proper media campaign.

The next stage of cooperation of ORLEN OIL and SUBARU Import Polska will be introduction of the offer of PLATINUM oils to authorised service centres in Poland as products recommended for SUBARU cars.
