1st round of the Drifting Polish Championship

22-05-2019

Last weekend the 1st round of Polish Drifting Championship took place in Słomczyn. Kuba Przygoński also fights for the title of the Polish Champion in the season 2019. In the new version of his Toyota GT86 he ended the competition in the PRO class on TOP 16.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the engine control system in Przygoński's car, which allowed him to make only one good pass. On the podium in the PRO class during the first round in Słomczyn there were: Piotr Trojanek, Igor Stolarek and Jacek Popiołek.

- Our new car performed very well, thanks to which in qualifying I had very good ride. Unfortunately, there was a small electric failure later, so the next rides were weaker. The first attempt was best scored from all, which means that the car is fast and it can be really good to drive. During my second pass in couples I made a mistake and I dropped out, but sometimes it happens. I am glad that after the winter break the car is in good condition. You need to combine it with better starts - Kuba Przygoński explained.

The 2nd round of the Polish Drifting Championships will take place on June 14-15 at the Kielce Track. Six rounds will be played as part of the whole cycle.
