On 9th January 2013, Renata Szostak, President of the Board in ORLEN OIL, Katarzyna Rozynska, Member of the Board in ORLEN OIL, and Jerzy Kozinski, General Director of SsangYong Motors Polska, signed a letter of intent, which initiates marketing and commercial cooperation between both companies.
Cooperating with yet another car manufacturer is an important element of the strategy for developing the sales of PLATINUM engine oils. This cooperation with SsangYong is future-oriented, as Korean cars are becoming more and more popular in Poland, and the number of people buying them is continuously growing, says Sebastian Zywczyk, Head of the Motoring Department in ORLEN OIL.
SsangYong has enjoyed a solid reputation for many years, as a manufacturer of SUVs and tourist vehicles (RVs). This Korean brand is making its comeback with full power, both on the Polish and European markets, and its role on the international automotive markets is constantly growing, thanks to the support of the Mahindra & Mahindra group of companies from India.
The signing of the letter of intent concerning cooperation with ORLEN OIL is an important step, in building a presence of SsangYong in Poland.
